Child Custody

Custody battles are stressful and filled with uncertainty, and you want to use every resource available to reach a positive outcome for your child. A child custody investigator looks for the specific things that matter to a court: whether the other parent engages in criminal activity, uses drugs or alcohol, drives recklessly or fails to properly restrain the child, or otherwise creates an unsafe environment.

What a Child Custody Investigator Looks For

  • Criminal Record

    Any history of police involvement.

  • Substance Use

Alcohol or drug use, confirmed through discreet surveillance.

  • Financial Stability

Financial ability to support the child.

  • Character & Conduct

Behavior at work and in the community, confirmed through interviews with people who know the parent.

  • Public Records

Court databases, DMV records, and employment history.

How We Work

We conduct surveillance discreetly, so the other parent is unaware of our presence. That's what lets us document how someone actually behaves when they think no one is watching, rather than how they behave when they know they're being evaluated.

When You Need This

A child custody investigation isn't necessary if you and your former partner have an amicable separation. It becomes worth pursuing if you're concerned about your child's safety, your former partner is unwilling to compromise, or you've been falsely accused of abuse or neglect and need to gather evidence to support your own case.
